Individuals who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply to the SF2UF program. For consideration, eligible applicants must:
- Have a disability or be from a disadvantaged background, according to the program criteria listed here.
- Be a citizen, non-citizen national, or permanent resident of the United States.
- Have a 3.5 cumulative GPA in a STEM or behavioral sciences degree program.
- Be qualified to earn the AA degree no less than 6 months after appointment to the SF2UF program unless an exception is granted by the SF2UF program.
- Clearly demonstrate an interest in the value of a diversified biomedical and behavioral sciences research workforce.
- Agree to not be employed in any manner during your participation in the program.
- Agree to participate in all SF2UF program activities.
- Agree to notify the SF2UF program of any change in academic status or financial aid status.
