Santa Fe College students who are accepted into the SF2UF program become SF2UF fellows. During their fellowship, students are expected to remain on track to complete their AA degree and transfer to UF, and to maintain progress toward graduation with a BS degree in a STEM major. Each semester, SF2UF fellows participate in intensive research with a UF faculty research mentor and complete SF2UF programs to enhance their academic preparation and research skills.
SF2UF fellows receive a stipend of approximately $1,200 per month, a scholarship for up to 60% of their tuition and travel support to attend one scientific conference. When former fellows reach their senior year, they will receive personalized guidance in the application and interview process for top graduate programs.
